Pickups from Frank and Son - (03/08/14)

It's finally Saturday.  I can't tell you how slow this week went by.  It was that typical waiting game where you just can't wait for the weekend to roll by because you wanted to go somewhere.  For me it was one of those weeks.  I wanted to head by to Frank and Son in order to look and buy baseball cards.  However, my dad and I hit heavy traffic on the 60 freeway as there was only two lanes open as we drove to Frank and Son.  Thankfully, we left a little after 8 and got there at 8:40.  When it opened, I took my time to look for any cards that intrigued me and boy I bought almost $6 worth of baseball cards.

2014 Topps Baseball - 72 Card Box from Target (03/07/14)

With two weeks of spring training being wrapped up, I thought I would take the time to buy a box of topps cards from Target.  The box costed $9.99.  I also bought a new binder and pocket pages for my baseball cards.  The binder costed another $9.99 while the binder was a measly $1.74 bringing my total to over $22.  Enough wasting time here are the pictures of a few cards that I thought looked interesting.

The back of the box with all the odds of winning a specific card.

Here's the inside with all the cards.

I decided to open it from the bottom since there was something in the way.

David Freese's card was in the very front.

Yes! I Have SportsNet LA!

The title says it all.  I literally just found out from my mother that we have SportsNet LA as of today.  Last night at 7:00, I was expecting to get SportsNet LA since we've been customers of Time Warner Cable for as long as I can remember, probably 7 years or so.  That didn't happen.  I figured we might had to have contacted them about it.  So, my parents contacted Time Warner and my parents told me we had to pay about $12 for it.  The channel was part of a package that would give us 100 additional channels.  I guess you can say that it's pricey, but I'll go through the year before I can give my opinion.
