2014 Topps Baseball Series 1 Pack Break (03/18/14)

Today my mother went to Target in order to buy my brother a notebook that he needed for math class.  While she was there, she decided that it was a good idea to buy a pack of baseball cards for me.  I was very grateful that she bought me one and out came some good cards.

Visit to Dodger Stadium (03/15/14)

Today my father took me to Dodger Stadium on a very special occasion.  We drove there in order to buy tickets for the Clayton Kershaw Cy Young bobblehead night which will take place on April 24.  The date is during the week, a Thursday, but I'll be on Spring Break vacation during that week.  We bought tickets for that day in the VIP section of the Right Field Pavillion.  After that, we headed inside the Team Store.  I decided to buy a 50 card pack of old Dodger cards and the new magazine that came out in the week.

Here's a great view of Dodger Stadium now that it's all healed from the Hockey construction.

Overall, the 50 card pack was a good one.  I got a couple of Valenzuela and Hershiser cards and guys like Kirk Gibson.

Pickups from Frank and Son - (03/08/14)

It's finally Saturday.  I can't tell you how slow this week went by.  It was that typical waiting game where you just can't wait for the weekend to roll by because you wanted to go somewhere.  For me it was one of those weeks.  I wanted to head by to Frank and Son in order to look and buy baseball cards.  However, my dad and I hit heavy traffic on the 60 freeway as there was only two lanes open as we drove to Frank and Son.  Thankfully, we left a little after 8 and got there at 8:40.  When it opened, I took my time to look for any cards that intrigued me and boy I bought almost $6 worth of baseball cards.

That's about it.  Overall, I had a good time at Frank and Son and was glad to be back after a one month absence.  I can't wait for the season to come and hope that Frank and Son have some interesting events in the year.
